Each point of Strength gives +19 to one's maximum Hit Points, +0.03 hp regeneration, and +1 damage to all heroes who have Strength as their Primary Attribute. Heroes who have Strength as their primary attribute, hereby known as "Strength heroes" or "str heroes", generally are regarded as having a lot of hp, and dealing most of their damage in a variety of ways, and being most important and useful mid-game. Strength can be acquired either through hero's base stats, through the skill Aamk(Attribute Bonus), which every hero has, or through items such as Heart of Tarrasque, Black King Bar, Sange, or Belt of Giant Strength.
Each point of agility gives 0.14 armor points (often rounded off to 1/7 of an armour point), +1% IAS(attack speed), and +1 damage to all heroes who have agility as their Primary Attribute. Heroes who have agility as their primary attribute, hereby known as "agility heroes" or "agi heroes", generally are regarded as having little hp, and dealing lots of damage late game. Agility can be acquired either through hero's base stats, through the skill Aamk (Attribute Bonus), which every hero has, or through items such as The Butterfly, Yasha, or Boots of Elvenskin.
Each point of Intelligence gives +13 to one's mana pool, +0.04 mana regeneration, and +1 damage to all heroes who have Intelligence as their Primary Attribute. Heroes who have Intelligence as their primary attribute, hereby known as "intelligence heroes" or "int heroes", generally are regarded as having little hp, and dealing most of their damage through spells, and being most important and useful early game. Intelligence can be acquired either through hero's base stats, through the skill Aamk(Attribute Bonus), which every hero has, or through items such as Aghanim's Scepter, Eul's Scepter of Divinity, Necronomicon, or Staff of Wizardry.
A hero's primary attribute is generally what defines a hero-each point of this attribute gives +1 damage, and this will be the attribute that has the highest value (in most cases). The primary attribute is generally used to categorize a hero, e.g. "agi hero", "int hero"
