With every new version of DotA Allstars out, the corresponding things on DotA Allstars Wiki also need updating. Here is a guide on what should be taken account of when updating things to a newer version.

DAWiki:Update List and Template:Version

Usually, when a new major version is out, a system operator of DAWiki will update the page DAWiki:Update List. In this page, all items of the latest changelog that involve updating on DotA Allstars Wiki will be listed. When something is updated, the corresponding item in the Update List should be removed.

When the updating of a page is finished, a tag indicating that the page is up-to-date should be put at the top of the page; that is {{Version}}. If you are sure that a page is updated to the latest version, you can insert the following line of code at the very beginning of the page.

Chain Updates

In DAWiki, some identical information are put in different places; thus, if only one of the occurrences gets updated, the information might be unsynchronized. Here is a list of duplicate information occurrences that should all be modified when one of them gets changed.

Hero background story (On the hero pages and corresponding tavern templates too)
Pseudo-evasion abilities (On the Pseudo-evasion page and corresponding hero page)
