Overview

Base Attack Time, or BAT, is the time between a unit's attacks before any Attack Speed increase/decrease is included.

Hero BAT List

Almost all heroes have a BAT of 1.7 seconds but there are some exceptions such as:

• Alchemist in level 1 Chemical Rage - 1.45 seconds
• Alchemist in level 2 Chemical Rage - 1.35 seconds
• Alchemist in level 3 Chemical Rage - 1.20 seconds
• Anti-Mage - 1.45 seconds
• Lone Druid in True Form - 1.6 seconds
• Lycanthrope in Wolf Form - 1.4 seconds
• Sacred Warrior - 1.6 seconds
• Soul Keeper - 1.5 seconds
• Soul Keeper in Metamorphosis - 1.6 seconds
• Troll Warlord in Melee Form - 1.55 seconds
• Vengeful Spirit - 1.77 seconds
• Windrunner - 1.6 seconds

Uses

Base Attack Time is used to calculate the number of attacks a unit can do per second, which is the unit's Attack Speed.
